Hi, my name is Stephan Trost and I'm currently working as a Senior Software Developer at 3DQR GmbH in Magdeburg since 2017.
My primary work tasks are done in Unity and C#. These range from our Augmented Reality Apps 3DQR Plus and IHK AR to whitelabel Apps using our core like Vreality.
Besides mobile Apps for Android & iOS I'm also responible for other agency subjects and collaborations. Some examples here are the integration of our API into the Elbedome by Fraunhofer IFF, as well as multiple interactive 3D visualizations in the archicture area for Vössing Ingenieurgesellschaft.
Together with the Fraunhofer IFF I also did Connect - a research and test project on digitization.
Before 3DQR I worked 1 year for the IBM Client Innovation Center in Magdeburg as a Java Developer and spent most of the time as technical Support for a big automobile group in Wolfsburg.
Before my jobs I was a student of Media Informatics at the Hochschule Harz in Wernigerode.
During my studies I learned how to handle cameras and edit the raw material to modify it the way I need it. Also a big part was the programming in Java with Eclipse.
In the last semesters I started to learn Maya 2014 for modelling and Unity 3D as a gameengine, which soon became my main interest.
Down below you can see some of my non work related projects in Unity like some Hobby Minigames, my Bachelor-Thesis where I made an open world survival game-prototype with working multiplayer as well as some other group or single projects for my studies back then.
